25.04.2013 – Asuncion, Paraguay. Near the CONMEBOL building, you’ll find a new convention center with an exciting museum about the history of football in Sudamerica, home of great teams and champions (Pelé, Maradona – just to name the greatests of all).
11.04.2013 Sion, Valais, Switzerland. With our friend Nicolas we visit the juniors teams and football school of FC Sion, an historical club (founded 1909) of the Swiss Football Association. FC Sion has won the Swiss Cup 12x in 12 finals, probably a world record (?!). The team plays in the Stade de Tourbillon, in front of passionate fans.
04.04.2013. Cesena, Italy. Today we’re guests of our friends (Isabella, Alberto) of TECHNOGYM, a manufacturer and world leader of fitness equipment, founded in 1983 by Nero Alessandri (in the photo his first hack squat machine). The new headquarters (Technogym Village) opened in 2012 and are simply impressive: office buildings, show rooms, the Wellness Centre and laboratories. The centre is also the heart of the so-called “Wellness Valley”, including parks, sports facilities and other in this region of the Emilia-Romagna.
03.04.2013. Bologna. Together with our friends of the ISOKINETIC Bologna (Claudio, Giulio Sergio) we meet Roberto Baggio, one of the greatest footballers of all time. He had an amazing career, playing in three World Cups (3rd in 1990, 2nd in 1994) with most goals scored by an Italian player. He holds several records in the Italian championship (top 3 all-time goalscorer, in 2002 he became the first Italian player in over 50 years to score more than 300 career goals), and won 2 Serie A titles, one Coppa Italia and one UEFA Cup, playing for 7 different teams (incl. fiorentina, Juventus, Inter, Milan, Bologna) in his career.
02.04.2013, Bologna. Visiting with our friend Claudio Carlotti the ISOKINETIC centre, and the players of Bologna FC at their daily training session. We meet Alberto Gilardino (“Gila”), a member of 2006 “Azzurri” World Cup winning team. He currently holds the record for being the youngest player to have scored 100 goals in Serie A, and he is the all-time top scorer for the Italy National Under-21 team.
